Memphis-based singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer Demi Griffin also known as “Demi Lowrell “is a 17-year-old female that has a soulful vocal that draws in listeners. Demi Lowrell started singing at a young age. She has been a part of the Memphis music scene as a member of the Memphis Children’s Choir, studied and performed with Stax Music Academy and Visible Music College.
Demi Lowrell released her first single in 2019 “Moving On” that followed up with her first EP “Too Close for Comfort” on all music platforms. She’s collaborated with Winston Steward (a former member of the Bar-Kays) on his Gospel album. She’s also a member of the Heal the Hood Foundation Wake Up Tour, a non-profit organization, which currently tours 50 schools with an audience of approximately 5,000 students.
At eleven years old, Demi Lowrell first appeared in her first movie with Lily Roze Studios. Demi Lowrell was featured on the Lifetime reality TV series “Mrs. T’s Music Factory.” Demi Lowrell has been featured in plays around Memphis.” First Site” by Ruby O’Gray and “The Morning Train” by Ron Gephart. She’s currently in rotation with Fleet DJs and charting #1 on Reverb Nation Radio’s R&B Chart.
Her new single and video single “I’m Ready” is available on YouTube. During this pandemic Demi Lowrell has been writing and recording music. She is still doing just that.
Demi is currently in a musical titled, Footloose and will be acting in an upcoming play titled, Nobody’s Listening that will be opening March 5th.
